About the Role

The Make Ready Assistant at The Trails at Canyon Creek supports residents and helps maintain the community by assisting with the preparation of market‑ready apartments, exterior maintenance, and common area upkeep. Key duties include preparing apartments through painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, drywall work, and tile replacement; handling trash, debris, and snow removal; performing exterior light‑bulb changes, grounds equipment repair, and signage installation; and keeping pools, hot tubs, dog park amenities, and common areas clean, operational, and safe. The role also requires reporting maintenance concerns, attending required training, communicating with residents, delivering superior customer service, adhering to uniform and safety standards, and performing other assigned tasks. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (paint, carpet clean, repairs, tile replacement) • Perform exterior maintenance (light‑bulb replacement, grounds equipment repair, signage installation) • Maintain pools, hot tubs, dog park, and common areas clean and safe • Remove trash, debris, and snow as needed • Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor • Deliver resident communications and superior customer service • Follow Cushman & Wakefield uniform and safety standards

What You Bring

Essential competencies include a valid driver’s license, preferred EPA 608 certification, knowledge of hand tools, professionalism, the ability to follow directions, handle emergencies, work flexible hours, and practice safety protocols while being a team player. Required education is a high school diploma, GED, or vocational training, with some related experience preferred. The position operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment and involves regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 25 lb frequently, and traveling up to 5 % of work time. • Hold a valid driver’s license; EPA 608 certification preferred • Possess knowledge of hand tools and ability to handle emergencies and flexible hours • Have a high school diploma/GED or vocational training; related experience preferred • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lb, stand/walk for extended periods, and travel between properties

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $17.85 to $21.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off.
