About the Role

The AE 2100D3 Field Service Representative position is a full‑time role located in Norway, supporting the Norwegian Air Force’s C‑130J propulsion system. The role involves liaising with the customer as a subject‑matter expert on technical issues, including site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs, field training, accident investigations, and in‑flight test evaluations. In this role you will review engineering changes for their field impact, update maintenance manuals, and coordinate communication plans with the customer. You will assist on technical issues through written communication, phone calls, and electronic media, covering engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and logistics support. Key accountabilities include collaborating with Customer Training Services to develop and deliver supplemental training, supporting AE‑2100 program and deployed services responsibilities, providing technical support during conferences and program reviews, and complying with any required relocations to meet business and customer objectives. • Review engineering changes, update maintenance manuals, and coordinate impact communication with customers. • Provide technical assistance via written, phone, and electronic media for engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and logistics. • Deliver supplemental training to customer maintenance personnel through on‑the‑job and classroom instruction. • Support AE‑2100 program execution, deployed services, and provide technical support during conferences and program reviews. • Travel domestically and internationally on short notice (up to 75%) for campaigns, AOG situations, and customer requests.

Basic qualifications are an associate degree with 4+ years, a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years, a master’s degree, or 6+ years of experience in jet engine maintenance or aviation field support. Preferred qualifications include prior military experience, an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license, C‑130J aircraft experience, maintenance experience on the 2100 D3 series engine, and having held a 2100 D3 International Position. • Meet basic qualification: associate degree + 4+ years, bachelor + 2+ years, master, or 6+ years experience in jet engine maintenance/aviation support. • Preferred: military background, FAA A&P license, C‑130J experience, 2100 D3 engine maintenance, held 2100 D3 International Position.
