About the Role

The Data Structures Specialist will support the Geospatial and Asset Information Team to meet the client’s requirements for geospatial, project and asset data. Working closely with the Digital Function, the role will help establish an asset management approach that leverages UniClass and existing digital solutions. The specialist will engage with stakeholders responsible for constructing, installing, operating and maintaining the client’s assets. • Assist delivery teams to meet client asset data requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met. • Establish an asset management approach using UniClass and existing digital solutions. • Research and recommend technologies to support the asset management strategy. • Collaborate with construction, installation, operation, and maintenance stakeholders. • Capture, produce, manage, and disseminate structured asset data throughout the project lifecycle. • Maintain client information standards and follow established production methods. • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of asset data. • Identify and drive improvements in data management practices and systems.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has more than five years of experience in data production and management, including creating and managing detailed asset information for large metro‑rail or similarly complex construction projects. They have a proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to improve processes and support project delivery. Expertise in master data management, reference data structures, data modelling and data architecture, as well as strong conceptual, logical and physical modelling skills, is essential. Familiarity with industry frameworks such as DAMA‑DMBOK is also desired. The role requires hands‑on knowledge of geospatial, project and asset data production and management, as well as data integration and schema design. Candidates should be versed in quality management and process improvement, preferably within construction, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration, flexibility, and interpersonal abilities are needed to work with multidisciplinary teams and influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Knowledge of ISO 55001 asset‑management standards and BIM standards (ISO 19650) is advantageous. A Level 8 undergraduate degree in data analytics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, information systems or an equivalent discipline is required. This academic foundation supports the technical and analytical demands of the position.
