About the Role

In this high-level position you will lead the pursuit, win, and execution of pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, semiconductor manufacturing, and medical device projects while overseeing the regional science and technology team and developing business plans. The role reports to the regional and practice area leader for the firm. • Lead pursuit, win, and execution of pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, and medical device projects. • Oversee regional science and technology team, develop business plans, and manage project delivery. • Expand and manage existing staff, coordinate Critical Facilities activities, and maintain client satisfaction. • Generate new revenue ($1M‑$3M annually) and increase existing revenue streams. • Build and deepen network with owners, architects, PM/CM firms, and general contractors. • Track leads, forecast pipeline, and develop winning strategies and teams. • Stay abreast of regional and global market trends; ensure technical excellence. • Coordinate regional practice area business plan with global strategy and other practice areas. • Develop strategies to penetrate new clients and increase high‑margin work. • Oversee project financials and reporting to interoffice/client stakeholders. • Articulate firm’s value proposition and lead integrated service sales presentations. • Write articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences. • Recruit senior staff with market‑specific experience and provide leadership to direct reports.

What You Bring

Associate Practice Area Director -CF. As a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning services, we specialize in highly technical buildings and the systems that bring them to life. This role can be located in Los Angeles, CA, with travel required. • Minimum 12 years life‑science design experience, 5+ years consulting engineering, 5+ years management. • Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; PE registration required. • Proven expertise in MEP systems and business development for engineering.
