About the Role

The Account Manager builds relationships and creates plans to increase sales and profitability for mid‑size accounts, generating leads through market research, events, networking, and digital tools. They contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business, develop and execute profitable business plans, and collaborate with sales and corporate personnel on account plans, pricing, and support to drive sales. The role is accountable for meeting sales quota, part margin, and expense objectives, resolving customer and service issues, maintaining product knowledge, submitting sales administration reports, and attending company meetings. • Build and maintain relationships with mid‑size contractor accounts to drive sales growth. • Develop and execute profitable account plans while meeting sales quota, margin, and expense targets. • Generate leads through market research, events, networking, and digital tools. • Collaborate with internal sales and corporate teams on pricing and support initiatives. • Resolve customer and service issues and maintain strong product knowledge. • Submit required sales administration reports and attend company meetings.

What You Bring

White Cap seeks candidates with 2–5 years of experience who can operate a company or personal vehicle for more than 20 % of the work week; a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record is required. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Preferred qualifications include prior outside sales experience with professional contractors, familiarity with White Cap products and services, and proficiency in Spanish. • Requirement: 2–5 years of experience and a valid Motor Vehicle Record; vehicle usage >20% of workweek. • Preferred: outside sales experience to professional contractors, familiarity with White Cap products, and Spanish proficiency.
