About the Role
The Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily operations on the production floor, ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of goods. Core responsibilities include directing production activities, analyzing production documents to schedule work, collaborating with other supervisors across departments, maintaining accurate records of employee time, production output, and costs, preparing shift performance reports for departmental supervisors, implementing measures to motivate staff and improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality, and requesting necessary materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repairs. The supervisor also maintains regular attendance, punctuality, fosters cooperative relationships with colleagues, and ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures. • May work in seasonal hot or cold temperatures with exposure to dust and occasional chemical fumes.
