About the Role
The role involves leading capability integration analysis, requirements development, and planning to support the delivery of NPS capability systems to the Navy and the Integrated Focused Force. • Conduct capability shaping, concept development, and full requirements analysis/specification. • Perform detailed design, system integration, implementation, and produce supporting engineering artefacts. • Identify hazards, conduct safety analyses, and develop risk and hazard reports. • Plan and execute verification and validation activities, produce V&V artefacts, and deliver integration certification. • Review contract deliverables and generate required plans, reports, and documentation. • Maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance; ITAR compliance may be required. • Contribute to critical defence projects that protect Australia’s future.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Australian institution or Washington‑Accord‑recognised equivalent) with practical platform integration and defence industry experience, preferably within a maritime domain, and must maintain a Minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (ITAR compliance may also be required). A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Australian or Washington‑Accord equivalent) with platform integration and defence experience, preferably maritime.
