About the Role

The Maintenance Technician assists with corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, as well as the make‑ready process, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to meet the property’s operational objectives. • Perform daily maintenance, repairs, and emergency response for community common areas, buildings, and units. • Conduct swimming pool upkeep and maintain accurate chemical logs. • Execute a preventative maintenance program to extend property lifespan and minimize future repairs. • Manage make‑ready turnover tasks and assist with scheduling repair and turn events. • Maintain an organized, properly stocked maintenance shop while adhering to OSHA and safety standards. • Document service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and work progress accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency rotations and respond promptly to urgent issues. • Maintain reliable transportation to fulfill on‑call emergency requirements.
