About the Role

The current opening is for an HVAC Service Technician who will handle service work and site maintenance for national accounts. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, conducting site surveys, and preparing for installations while acting as the direct customer contact. The role requires flexibility for overtime or weekend work and involves regular travel, including occasional overnight trips. • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction • Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance • Maintain equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notify customer or Operations Manager of findings • Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files • Represent the company as a direct customer contact • Determine parts to order for repairs and the timeliness of need • Record parts, material, labor, subs, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources • Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner • Keep current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair • Read and interpret product specifications • Provide technical support to customers
