About the Role

The primary responsibility is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial, and construction environments. Drivers must follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards, keep the vehicle clean and safe, and perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. • Operate heavy‑duty commercial vehicle safely on residential, commercial, and construction routes. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and report any issues. • Notify Route Manager or Dispatch of unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or service calls promptly. • Follow route assignments, dump containers, and leave the site clean and debris‑free. • Position containers upright, replace lids, and ensure they do not block driveways or traffic. • Complete all required documentation and customer tickets at the end of the route. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings.
