About the Role

The Kitting Coordinator is responsible for assembling kits, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials within a warehouse setting. • Pull daily stock tickets and correct quantity issues • Verify and sort received materials for Spot “K-901” • Sort materials by kit (work order number) • Communicate kit status with planners and material coordinators via phone/email • Research and reconcile material issues in SAP • Monitor kits nearing required dates and expedite deliveries • Contact vendors to obtain or expedite delivery status • Update kit status in SAP and notify area when kits are ready • Return unused material to stock • Transport kits using tractor, forklift, van, or golf cart • Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals • Write routine reports and correspondence • Mark materials with identifying information • Verify and record quantities of received or distributed materials • Drive equipment to transport items within warehouse • Use computer to enter records and compile worksheets/tickets • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, style, or product code • Store stocked goods in warehouse • Weigh or count items to ensure conformity to standards • Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distribute items • Assemble customer orders and place on pallets or convey to packing/shipping • Verify picked products, document discrepancies, and re-pick correctly • Confirm tickets • Consolidate freight for shipping • Load trucks for customer delivery • Facilitate and distribute shipping tickets • Verify shipping methods • Manage delayed release tickets • Communicate oversized loads to freight carriers • Inspect and maintain printing equipment • Ensure shipping routes are maintained

What You Bring

• Must be able to use stand-up and sit-down lift, operate tractor • Knowledge of SAP (R3) or other ERP systems • Excellent phone and email communication skills • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Word • Organized and able to work independently • Proficient typing ability • Ability to perform Store Crib Attendant tasks • Multi-task effectively • Perform basic arithmetic and compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet • Knowledge of SAP fundamentals • Experience operating forklift/cherry picker • Basic safety knowledge (proper lifting techniques) • Open bales, crates, and other containers
