AECOM is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer II to strengthen its regional bridge team in Denver, CO. Candidates must excel in written and oral communication, work independently, and prepare contract drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, cost estimates, as well as conduct bridge inspections and develop rehabilitation strategies. Minimum requirements include a BA/BS and two years of experience or equivalent education. Preferred qualifications are a civil (structural) engineering degree, at least two years of bridge design experience, a master’s degree, project work with Colorado DOT or the City of Denver, proficiency in 3D finite‑element software such as CSiBridge, MIDAS, or SAP2000, and railroad bridge design experience. • Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. • Apply knowledge of railroad bridge design where applicable. • Meet minimum education (BA/BS) and experience (2 years) requirements; preference for civil/structural engineering degree and 2+ years bridge design experience.
