About the Role

As an employee‑owned firm, HNTB is expanding its team and seeking Summer 2026 Intern Engineers in Bedford, NH, and South Portland, ME for Roadway, Structures, and Traffic/ITS disciplines. Relocation and housing are not provided. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be actively enrolled in an accredited engineering program. Basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles is required. Interns should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, the ability to follow direction, and an introductory knowledge of shop drawing and submittal processes. They must be capable of performing simple calculations and organizing information for use in technical documents. The position does not provide visa sponsorship and requires legal authorization to work in the United States.
