About the Role

As a Lease Administrator, you will be the linchpin in facilitating seamless leasing transactions across the Sydney Water portfolio for Property NSW. Working within the Cushman & Wakefield Leasing Team, you will coordinate all aspects of lease administration—from onboarding new tenants to managing renewals, variations, and departures. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and delivering excellent service. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as legal, facilities management and finance, as well as external stakeholders including tenants and Sydney Water, to ensure lease data remains current and compliant. The organization fosters an inclusive culture with mentorship, training, and global resources. • Coordinate end-to-end lease administration, including data entry, document management, and critical date tracking • Support lease renewals, variations, make-good notices, and terminations • Generate expenditure rent rolls, reconcile lease data, and flag discrepancies • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (legal, FM, finance) and external stakeholders (tenants, Sydney Water) • Maintain lease databases and systems, ensuring all records are current and compliant • Provide responsive support to queries, escalations, and internal reporting needs

What You Bring

Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in lease administration or a similar real‑estate leasing role, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and lease‑management platforms such as SharePoint or Yardi. A detail‑oriented mindset, ability to meet multiple transactional deadlines, and effective communication skills are essential. A tertiary qualification in property, business or related fields, and an NSW Real Estate Agent licence (or eligibility) are advantageous. • 2–4 years’ experience in lease administration or leasing-focused real estate role • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and lease management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Yardi) • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactional deadlines • Clear, concise communication and strong stakeholder management skills • Tertiary qualification in property, business, or related disciplines (preferred) • NSW Real Estate Agent License or eligibility to obtain one (a plus) • Professional development in transactional leasing and portfolio management
