About the Role

In this position you will independently design storm‑water drainage systems, manage smart and Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) solutions, and develop hydraulic designs that meet site‑specific requirements. You will conduct hydrologic modeling, produce calculations, drawings and reports, supervise junior engineers, and collaborate with CAD/BIM and 3‑D modeling teams throughout all project stages. • Design and deliver stormwater drainage and smart SuDS systems independently. • Perform hydraulic and system design, hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, and reports. • Supervise and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with CAD/BIM and 3‑D modeling teams. • Apply innovative, value‑engineering solutions and ensure designs meet site‑specific requirements.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil, Environmental, Hydrology or Water Engineering and brings at least five years of experience in infrastructure and water‑related projects, including culvert and urban drainage design. Proficiency with hydrologic/hydraulic software (SWMM, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS), GIS and CAD tools (ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation), and strong mathematical skills are essential, as is knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and SuDS. Additional advantages include a Master’s in Water Engineering or Hydrology, Chartered Engineer status or progress toward it, and familiarity with Infoworks ICM. Excellent communication, organizational abilities, a collaborative attitude, and prior experience in GCC markets are also valued.
