About the Role

The Leasing Consultant role oversees leasing, marketing and resident‑relation activities for a property, ensuring occupancy goals are met while maintaining high resident satisfaction. • Show, qualify, tour prospective residents and secure lease signings. • Generate new leads, schedule appointments and conduct property tours. • Prepare and process all leasing paperwork prior to move‑in. • Perform lease audits, unit walk‑throughs and assist with the turnover process. • Record prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios and exceed leasing targets. • Handle resident complaints, requests and ensure overall satisfaction. • Develop and execute resident‑retention initiatives such as events, promotions and newsletters. • Perform routine office, common area and model unit upkeep and cleaning. • Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and outreach activities. • Conduct weekly market surveys, maintain product knowledge of the property and competitors, and compile market analysis reports. • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service‑request response times. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Understand and apply Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

What You Bring

• Meet basic education requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software and basic computer skills. • Ability to move, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb, climb ladders, and work in varied environments including outdoor conditions. • Availability to work overtime, weekends, evenings and respond to emergencies.
