About the Role

The Transaction Manager will provide reliable, timely, and efficient support to JLL’s Retail team in Toronto. The role requires working with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels, using independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize workloads in a fast‑paced environment, and directly contributes to transaction success and client satisfaction. Key duties include managing transactions from start to finish—conducting needs assessments, financial analysis, site selection and lease negotiations—while preparing reports, proposals, contracts, offer documents and market surveys. The manager coordinates property tours, responds to offers, and provides ongoing client reporting, as well as participates in client meetings for market updates. Collaboration with marketing teams to create listing materials and online content, tracking active transactions and maintaining CRM systems, and completing post‑transaction closeout activities are also essential. JLL uses artificial‑intelligence tools to analyze applications for relevant skills and experiences, and it adheres to strict privacy standards; personal data is collected solely for recruitment purposes, securely stored, and retained only as needed. • Oversee full transaction lifecycle from needs assessment through lease negotiation. • Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, contracts, offer documents and market surveys. • Coordinate property tours, respond to offers, and provide regular client reporting. • Participate in client meetings to give market updates and day‑to‑day support. • Collaborate with marketing to produce listing materials, photography, signage and online content. • Track active deals, win‑ratios and maintain the team’s CRM system. • Execute post‑transaction closeout tasks, including documentation collection and payment coordination.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or a related field, 2‑4 years of commercial real‑estate or transaction‑management experience, strong analytical and financial‑modeling skills, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and detail‑oriented organizational abilities. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred qualifications include a commercial real‑estate licence or certification, experience with retail transactions and lease documentation, knowledge of the Toronto commercial‑real‑estate market, proficiency with marketing and presentation software, project‑management and client‑relationship experience. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate or a related field with 2‑4 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate strong analytical, financial modeling and communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; detail‑oriented and highly organized. • Preferred: commercial real‑estate licence, retail transaction experience, Toronto market knowledge, and project‑management expertise.
