About the Role

• Repair and maintain a variety of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, batteries, fire detection/suppression systems, circuit breakers, switchgear, controls, relays, chargers, inverters, valve actuators, and switches. • Assist higher‑classification electrical technicians with their tasks. • Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and document conditions found.

What You Bring

The Electrical Technician position performs skilled electrical work on nuclear power‑plant equipment, including inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation, and removal. This role is essential for maintaining the reliable operation of the plant. • Hold a High School diploma or GED, pass the EEI TECH test, obtain unescorted nuclear access, and be able to work varied shifts. • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities. • Meet at least one of the following: associate degree in a technical field; three years of electrical military experience; three years of industrial craft maintenance with a completed trades program; or five years of industrial craft maintenance experience.
