About the Role
As an Entry‑Level Design Drafter you will use AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD software to create and revise detailed drawings and layouts for highways, bridges, and transit projects. You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and project managers, assist in preparing construction documents, plans, and specifications, and keep project files organized and up to date. You will also participate in field investigations, data collection, and will ensure all work meets Parsons’ high standards for safety, quality, and compliance. • Prepare detailed highway, bridge, and transit drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD software. • Collaborate with engineers and project managers on transportation solutions. • Assist in creating construction documents, plans, and specifications while maintaining organized project files. • Participate in field investigations and data collection to learn industry best practices. • Ensure all work complies with Parsons’ safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

What You Bring
The position requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and related coursework including basic mathematics and drafting, as well as at least two years of related experience. No security clearance is required. This role is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, which designs and delivers essential projects that improve communities, promote economic growth, enhance mobility, and increase sustainability and resiliency. • Minimum qualifications: High School diploma (or equivalent) with relevant coursework and 2+ years related experience.

The salary range for this position is $21.88 to $38.27 per hour.
