About the Role

The Trade Fabricator role performs trade‑specific quality work in line with CAD/FAB and Energy procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations. The position requires operating machinery, interpreting drawings, inspecting product compliance, and cooperating with the shop team to achieve production goals. • Operate trade‑specific machinery and select the proper machine and operation sequence based on labels and raw material requirements. • Interpret job orders and drawings to guide fabrication tasks. • Layout and fabricate hand‑made components. • Inspect and document product compliance with specifications. • Handle and manage materials throughout the shop. • Maintain knowledge of equipment capacities and perform routine equipment maintenance. • Collaborate with fellow fabricators and laborers to improve their skills. • Assist the shop superintendent in training new employees and tracking production. • Work with the shop foreman to ensure production goals are met and communicate order status to the superintendent. • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. • Exercise the right to stop work for unsafe conditions and promptly report hazards. • Work in outdoor, indoor, dusty, noisy, hazardous, high‑place, tight, and confined spaces, and in all weather conditions. • Perform climbing, balancing, squatting, kneeling, and crouching motions.
