About the Role
Johnson Controls Federal Systems (JCFS) supports the nation’s most critical facilities, providing smarter, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure solutions for military installations and other federal agencies. • Maintain and monitor Building Automation and Control Systems, handling equipment and system alarms via GUIs and control programs. • Validate alarms and create work orders in the CMMS for technicians. • Continuously monitor Facility Control Systems using Metasys to ensure proper operation. • Conduct shift turnover meetings at the start and end of each shift. • Complete shift reports and logs in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Perform minor HVAC maintenance, such as filter changes and greasing. • Receive calls and dispatch personnel to troubleshoot issues. • Cross‑train to monitor and respond to the fire alarm system.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Building Control Systems Operator (BMS Operator) to join our federal team at USAG Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtek, South Korea. The position is located in a high‑security command center and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance within one year. The selected candidate will reside in South Korea and receive a housing and subsistence allowance. The role requires a current or recent DoD Top Secret clearance, a solid foundation in HVAC principles, computer proficiency, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with building automation, Direct Digital Controls, Metasys, CMMS, and HVAC maintenance is preferred, as is certification in HVAC technical training or Metasys and familiarity with Honeywell Notifier fire alarm systems. • Active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance, or clearance active within the last 2 years. • Knowledge of HVAC principles. • Proficiency with computers. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Self‑starter able to work with minimal supervision. • Building operator experience with Direct Digital Controls (DDC). • Experience with Metasys. • Experience using CMMS to create work orders. • HVAC mechanical maintenance/service background. • Building Automation System (BAS) experience. • HVAC technical school training and/or certifications. • Metasys certification. • Experience with Honeywell Notifier fire alarm systems.
