Senior Facade Engineer

About the Role

This role offers the chance to work on the delivery of major sports stadiums and related projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is delivering a programme that requires high‑calibre, experienced professionals to lead teams throughout each phase. • Review façade design packages, drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance. • Assess constructability, maintainability, and performance of various façade systems. • Evaluate thermal, acoustic, structural, fire, and weather‑proofing criteria. • Coordinate with architects, structural, MEP, and FLS teams for integrated design. • Oversee material selection, mock‑ups, testing, and inspections for system validation. • Identify design risks and implement mitigation strategies per EXPRO standards. • Apply performance‑based design aligned with global standards. • Integrate façade systems with crowd flow and environmental control. • Evaluate advanced glazing, demountable, and temporary solutions. • Review FEM models, wind‑tunnel reports, and structural analysis. • Align material choices with sustainability, safety, and lifecycle efficiency. • Safety first – ensure a safe, diverse, and inclusive workplace so everyone can go home safe and well. • Client focus – own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long‑term client relationships. • Create opportunity – champion continuous improvement and inspire people to excel.

The position is a Façade Expert at MoS Level 3 (Class E3) requiring over 15 years of experience, with a salary band of SAR 40 000–50 000. For more information, contact Pierrette Joumaa. • Specialize in stadium façades with complex geometries and interdisciplinary needs. • Expert in tensile fabric systems for large‑scale sports venues. • Proficient in façade‑to‑structure connections and movement tolerances. • Skilled in dynamic load analysis and stadium‑specific challenges. • Hold a degree in civil, structural, façade, or architectural engineering with professional body membership and extensive industry experience. • Deep knowledge of local and international codes (SBC, ASTM, EN, BS), stadium design standards, and dynamic load considerations. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, BIM platforms, and façade‑specific software, thriving in fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environments.
