About the Role
The technician role involves assisting in the repair and overhaul of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, providing preventative maintenance, and supporting the department with job processing and training. • Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment • Repair compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices safely and efficiently • Perform general repairs on AC units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, electric motors • Conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies • Process job tickets and work orders promptly to support the department • Provide training to new or less qualified technicians as needed • Maintain proper truck inventory and drive company vehicle safely

What You Bring
• High school diploma/GED required • EPA certification required • 5+ years commercial refrigeration experience required • Experience with convenience store or supermarket refrigeration equipment is a strong plus • Familiarity with single and rack systems, display cases, walk‑in boxes is helpful • Good driving record and ability to work independently • Emergency on‑call availability required • Ability to lift up to 60 lb unassisted and stand/sit for several hours
