About the Role
In this role you will support procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, components, and services. You will collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the supply-chain team to maintain inventory levels, resolve issues, and uphold compliance with company policies. Key duties include processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records in Oracle, monitoring order status, expediting deliveries, and addressing discrepancies with suppliers. You will also communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and quality requirements, work with finance on invoice matching and payment issues, ensure adherence to purchasing policies and audit standards, and prepare reports on purchasing metrics and supplier performance. • Process purchase orders and maintain accurate Oracle records. • Monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve supplier discrepancies. • Communicate with vendors on pricing, lead times, and quality requirements. • Collaborate with finance to match invoices and address payment issues. • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and audit requirements. • Prepare reports on purchasing metrics and supplier performance.

What You Bring
The position requires a high-school diploma or equivalent, with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, and at least two years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply-chain support. Candidates should be familiar with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office, possess strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing experience, knowledge of basic contract terms and vendor compliance, and an APICS or related supply-chain certification. • Require high-school diploma; associate or bachelor degree preferred. • Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply-chain support. • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), Salesforce, and MS Office. • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Preferred: manufacturing or industrial experience. • Preferred: knowledge of basic contract terms and vendor compliance. • Preferred: APICS or supply-chain certification.
