About the Role

• Operate large excavators, backhoes and skid steers for demolition and restoration projects. • Coordinate on‑site work with crew members and construction management to resolve issues and eliminate hazards. • Maintain, schedule and inspect heavy machinery while adhering to site‑specific safety procedures and industry standards. • Prepare daily job notes, electronic expense reports, and timecards using Parsons’ reporting systems. • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and office staff; represent the company on project sites. • Attend weekly project meetings, report progress, milestones, and any factors affecting cost or schedule. • Utilize PC software packages related to engineering and construction for documentation and reporting.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join the Federal Solutions team and travel to various sites performing demolition work. The role involves coordinating with on‑site crews and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. • Possess 5+ years of heavy‑equipment operation experience and ability to lift up to 50 lb, travel 100 % and hold an active credit card. • Demonstrate strong safety/quality focus; OSHA and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications preferred.
