About the Role
The Territory Executive is responsible for identifying leads, prospecting, and selling the full suite of Republic Services products—including waste containers, recycling, electronic and universal recycling—within an assigned non‑metropolitan market. They meet regularly with new and existing clients to present solutions, follow up with decision makers, and sell total waste‑stream management services. The executive acquires new commercial, industrial and recycling business to exceed monthly revenue targets, retains existing customers through long‑term relationships, follows up leads within two hours, manages contractual re‑signs, handles cancellation requests, and supports pricing initiatives. They use Salesforce daily to document activities, develop prospect profiles, deliver sales presentations, conduct cold‑calling, capture customer emails, minimize rate restrictions, monitor market trends, and propose additional services to grow profitable revenue. • Identify and qualify leads, prospecting new commercial, industrial, and recycling accounts. • Conduct sales presentations and follow‑up with key decision makers to close deals. • Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets for new and existing customers. • Maintain and grow existing client relationships to foster loyalty and retention. • Follow up leads within 2 hours and log activities in Salesforce. • Manage contract renewals and handle cancellation requests per policy. • Develop prospect profiles and market intelligence to anticipate customer needs. • Execute cold‑calling and scheduled phone blocks to generate appointments. • Offer total waste‑stream management solutions and cross‑sell additional services. • Meet with Sales Manager regularly to review performance and customer status. • Participate in trade shows, chamber events, and community activities to raise company visibility.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least five years of relevant sales experience, two years of direct customer‑facing selling, waste or service industry background, and a valid driver’s license. The salary range is $70,304 – $93,950, with a bonus/commission component and a comprehensive benefits package.
