About the Role
The team maintains robust governance and assurance processes, sets policy and strategic direction for HSE improvement, and manages performance monitoring and reporting. It also coordinates the ongoing maintenance of the HSE Management System, training catalogue, and risk profiles, while supporting executive-level risk and assurance updates. • Lead planning, facilitation and documentation of critical HSE Governance & Assurance meetings. • Track and close actions from governance meetings, escalating as required. • Maintain the required cadence of HSE Governance & Assurance meetings. • Coordinate updates and reviews of the HSE Management System and related documentation. • Oversee maintenance and refresh of the HSE training catalogue on Leatro. • Facilitate twice‑yearly updates of Group and Business HSE Risk Profiles and associated meetings. • Support Head of HSE Compliance with risk and assurance updates for the Executive Team and Safety, Energy Transition & Technology Committee. • Develop, plan and communicate the annual internal HSE audit plan. • Serve as primary contact for ISO certification audits and internal Rolls‑Royce audits. • Act as Subject Owner for HSE Governance, Risk & Assurance. • Identify and advise on improvement opportunities in HSE governance, assurance processes, IT platforms and resources. • Monitor governance themes and emerging risks, advising the HSE Leadership Team. • Maintain central Governance, Risk & Assurance documentation to an up‑to‑date and auditable standard.

What You Bring
• Chartered HSE Professional (mandatory). • Experience in HSE governance, risk, assurance and compliance. • Proven track record building and delivering global assurance programmes. • Working knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks. • Experience in a global role across multiple jurisdictions and cultures (advantageous). • Strong organisational and communication skills. • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across diverse functions and businesses.
