About the Role

The role involves performing system commissioning using Johnson Controls tools, troubleshooting basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, responding to warranty calls, loading controller software, conducting system diagnostics, calibrating equipment, and completing required documentation and administrative tasks while maintaining safety standards. • Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration tools • Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues • Respond to basic warranty calls • Load system‑level controller software and conduct diagnostics on sensors, actuators, etc. • Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment • Complete commissioning documentation, timesheets, expense reports, and on‑site paperwork • Communicate progress and issues to management, contractors, and customers • Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training

What You Bring

Candidates must be full‑time students at accredited U.S. colleges, pursuing an engineering, HVAC, or related technical degree, be at least sophomores, possess strong computer skills (Excel, Word, AutoCAD, PowerPoint), and have legal U.S. work authorization without sponsorship, as well as strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities. • Full‑time student at an accredited U.S. college or university (sophomore or higher) • Pursuing a degree in engineering, HVAC, or related technical field • Proficient with PC applications: Excel, Word, AutoCAD, PowerPoint • U.S. citizen or legal work authorization without sponsorship • Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem‑solving skills • Energetic, driven attitude with ability to complete tasks • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
