About the Role

• Provide general administration support for projects. • Assist campaign and proposal staff with proposal materials. • Support development of Project Execution Plans and Health and Safety Plans. • Implement established project control processes, including scope, budget, schedule, profitability and risk management. • Prepare baseline schedules in collaboration with project team members. • Monitor scope, cost and schedule alignment throughout project phases. • Track resource allocation and personnel changes. • Measure progress against schedule baselines and forecast budgets accurately. • Identify variances and trends and report them. • Assist Project Managers with monthly schedule updates, financial forecasting, invoicing and progress reports for internal and external clients. • Ensure high‑quality workmanship through accurate reporting, document control and timely monitoring.

Successful candidates will be self‑motivated, highly organised and able to juggle several tasks simultaneously. Financial literacy, quick learning of Stantec’s PM tools, and diplomatic interpersonal skills are also essential. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. • Familiarity with project management software such as Project, Primavera, Oracle or SAP (beneficial). • Solid financial literacy. • Quick learner of Stantec’s PM and financial tools and processes. • Self‑starter with strong organisational and process skills, outcome‑focused. • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse stakeholders and apply diplomacy in tense situations. • Sound administrative abilities with attention to detail and effective written and oral communication. • Conscientious, initiative‑taking and accountable for meeting project requirements. • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities consistently.
