About the Role

The Senior Lead Full‑Stack RhoMobile Developer will design, develop, support, and modernize cross‑platform mobile applications using the RhoMobile (Rhodes) framework. The role delivers reliable, high‑performance experiences on iOS and Android, with a focus on offline‑first field mobility solutions. Key responsibilities include leading the design and maintenance of cross‑platform apps, implementing offline‑first solutions with local storage and background sync, and working closely with RhoConnect, Redis, and backend services for data synchronization. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to build responsive interfaces, develop native extensions for device capabilities, troubleshoot production issues, lead code reviews, mentor the team, and support app releases, provisioning, and MDM distribution. Coordination with backend, DevOps, and QA teams ensures end‑to‑end stability, while you proactively identify opportunities to modernize legacy RhoMobile applications. • Lead design, development, and maintenance of cross‑platform mobile apps using RhoMobile/Rhodes. • Implement offline‑first solutions with local data storage, background sync, and conflict resolution. • Integrate with RhoConnect, Redis, and backend services to ensure reliable data synchronization. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery Mobile. • Develop native extensions for iOS and Android (camera, barcode, speech‑to‑text, GPS, file handling). • Perform root‑cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues such as sync failures and performance bottlenecks. • Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor team members on Rhodes architecture and Ruby patterns. • Support application releases, provisioning profiles, certificates, app store deployments, and enterprise MDM distributions. • Coordinate with backend, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution stability. • Identify and propose modernization or migration strategies for legacy RhoMobile applications.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and 10+ years of mobile application development experience with RhoMobile/Rhodes and Microsoft MAUI. You must have deep knowledge of Rhodes MVC architecture, strong proficiency in Ruby/Rails, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery Mobile, and experience with RhoConnect, Redis, SQLite, iOS and Android native development, Azure services, and GitHub CI/CD pipelines. Additional expertise in mobile security, performance tuning, and modernizing legacy apps to React Native or MAUI is essential. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 10+ years of mobile development experience with RhoMobile/Rhodes and Microsoft MAUI. • Strong proficiency in Ruby/Rails, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery Mobile.
