About the Role
The Assisted Living Caregiver delivers compassionate support and assistance with daily living activities for residents in an assisted‑living facility. This role focuses on personal care, safety monitoring, and promoting independence while maintaining a high standard of living for each resident. • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding. • Provide medication reminders and administration per healthcare directives. • Monitor safety, report changes, and respond promptly to emergencies. • Encourage participation in social activities to promote mental and physical well‑being. • Perform light housekeeping duties, including bed making and laundry. • Accurately document care provided and any changes in health or behavior. • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation. • Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to ensure coordinated resident care.

What You Bring
The position requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods, as well as the ability to handle physical demands such as transferring residents. Employees must be available for weekend and holiday shifts to provide uninterrupted service. • Require high school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred. • Prefer prior experience in caregiving or assisted‑living settings. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, empathy, and patience skills. • Ability to lift and transfer residents; maintain physical stamina. • CPR and First Aid certification preferred. • Pass criminal background check and drug screening.
