About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role also includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards and complying with all Company, state, and federal regulations while completing daily vehicle condition reports. Before each shift, the driver conducts thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. Any safety concerns are documented on standard reports and addressed promptly to keep the vehicle operationally ready. During the shift, the driver follows a designated route sheet, reads maps, and services each customer as assigned. Using manual or automatic controls, they lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at the appropriate facility while tagging unsatisfactory containers and monitoring waste for compliance. The driver interacts courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure routes are serviced efficiently and professionally. They also clean accidental waste spills in accordance with safety standards and maintain the vehicle's cleanliness, including removing waste from the packer blade and truck body. Required documentation such as route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports are completed accurately and on time. The driver adheres to productivity standards, follows all safety policies, participates in the ReSOP program, and performs additional duties as assigned. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs • Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and to disposal sites • Load, compact, and unload waste using manual or automatic controls • Identify, tag, and report unsatisfactory waste containers • Clean accidental spills following safety standards • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports • Adhere to all safety policies and actively participate in the ReSOP program

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. Strong customer service, time‑management, follow‑through, and a commitment to safety and company policies are essential attributes.
