About the Role
Key production responsibilities include operating and controlling auxiliary and semiautomatic equipment, assisting higher‑level operators, and using measuring tools to verify quality specifications. The operator also trains lower‑level staff, operates material handling and processing equipment, updates CIP boards through the shop floor management system, and performs basic troubleshooting while maintaining output across multiple machines. In the supply raw material area, the operator visually checks workstations for low supplies, pulls items from designated stock, transports materials to and from stations using appropriate handling equipment, and notifies supervisors or material handlers when supplies reach reorder levels. Quality and testing duties require testing and inspecting produced items to ensure they meet all specifications, reporting non‑conforming products to supervision or quality personnel, following non‑conforming product procedures, isolating or reworking defective items, and accurately entering data into the quality control system. Additional duties include participating in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional training. The ideal candidate possesses basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, good manual dexterity for handling small parts, the ability to perform repetitive tasks, effective communication skills, and the ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, or drawings. A positive attitude, adherence to high quality standards, and a commitment to superior service are also essential. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, or 6‑12 months of related experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Benefits
Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $19‑$22, dependent on factors such as education, experience, and location, and eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
