About the Role
In this role you will act as the subject‑matter expert for assigned data domains, collaborating with key users to define business logic, automate data‑quality monitoring, and ensure reliable data delivery. You will advise stakeholders on self‑service data availability, guide data extraction, and support analytics teams with clear field‑level explanations. Additionally, you will partner with product managers, manage data‑security controls, and maintain data catalogs and quality rules across the organization. • Serve as subject‑matter expert for designated data domains, covering sources, meanings, users, and use cases. • Collaborate with data users to develop business logic for automated data‑quality monitoring. • Advise and create materials on self‑service data availability for stakeholders. • Guide extraction of data from relevant databases and platforms. • Support Analytics Product Manager and Data Scientists with data usage guidance. • Own and maintain field‑level explanations for data sources to address business questions. • Partner with Product Managers and Centers of Excellence to drive data source adoption. • Communicate data updates and changes from vendors across the organization. • Manage data security access rules and assess security risks against contractual and legal constraints. • Document data catalogs and align business definitions for analytics metadata. • Own and maintain quality rules for the assigned data domain and analytics products. • Create automated data‑quality management rules and develop advanced analytics dashboards. • Project‑manage initiatives and meet defined deadlines.

This Data Steward – Manufacturing role is open to multiple locations, with a preference for the Central Time zone. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics or a related technical field, and brings at least three years of cross‑functional supply‑chain experience. Experience with data science, analytics, data modeling, and familiarity with Kimberly‑Clark ERP platforms (S4, Kinaxis, SMOM, WMS, TMS) is required, along with a proven track record of creating automated data‑quality rules, designing dashboards, and managing projects to deadline. Fluency in English is essential. • Understand contracted data scope and support renewal and RFP discussions. • Hold a bachelor’s or advanced degree in supply chain, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field. • Bring at least three years of cross‑functional supply‑chain experience, preferably with data science or analytics exposure. • Demonstrate understanding of database structures and familiarity with Kimberly‑Clark ERP platforms (S4, Kinaxis, SMOM, WMS, TMS). • Fluency in English.

The salary range for this position is $87,260 – $107,780 USD, subject to location, skills, performance and experience, and applies to U.S. locations only.
