About the Role

The New Home Consultant guides prospective buyers through every stage of the home‑buying journey, from the first interaction to closing and beyond. Success in this role relies on proactive sales techniques, strong relationship management, and a deep understanding of the local housing market to provide a seamless experience. In this position you will welcome visitors, assess their needs, and drive sales using Lennar’s proven selling methodology. You will maintain the presentation of model and inventory homes, travel within the community to generate leads, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Engage visitors and assess home‑buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy • Generate, process, and close sales through self‑generated or referred leads with the 10‑5‑2‑1 approach • Provide consistent follow‑up from initial contact through post‑closing activities and maintain accurate communication records • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes in excellent condition and coordinate maintenance • Travel locally to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting • Develop in‑depth knowledge of market competition, product offerings, community details, and sales trends • Track daily customer traffic using company‑designated tools • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives

What You Bring

The role requires at least a high school diploma, with a college degree and real‑estate license considered an advantage. Candidates should have 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales or related fields, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. A self‑motivated, results‑driven attitude and the ability to work independently are essential. Regular on‑site attendance during standard business hours is mandatory, and the job may involve working more than eight hours in a construction trailer, lifting equipment over 50 pounds, and occasional operation of construction machinery. Ability to drive, read building plans, and navigate stairs and ladders is also required. • High school diploma required; college degree and real‑estate license preferred • 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales, real estate, or related field • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales • Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking systems • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of working independently • Regular on‑site attendance during standard work hours • Ability to work >8 hours in a construction trailer environment and lift equipment over 50 lb • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, and occasionally operate construction equipment
