About the Role
The Senior Electrical Engineer will support new product development, continuous improvement, and after‑sales and commissioning teams for Terex Washing System and Recycling System brands. Responsibilities include designing three‑phase control systems, managing project timelines, and acting as the technical liaison across functions. Key engineering duties involve producing accurate electrical schematics, bills of materials and technical documentation, developing and testing PLC and HMI software (Allen Bradley and IFM), and writing functional specifications. The engineer also ensures proper documentation storage, supports operations on improvement projects, contributes to cost reduction and reliability initiatives, and may perform equipment commissioning and on‑site testing. In the project‑management capacity, the engineer supports new product development projects by interpreting requirements, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and delivering electrical control designs that meet customer specifications. Ongoing technical support is provided for existing products and NPD deliverables. All designs must comply with company and industry safety standards and relevant legislation. The engineer follows health‑and‑safety procedures, creates project risk analyses, and ensures adherence to safety policies.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and possess expertise in three‑phase electrical control system design, automation, and troubleshooting. Desired experience includes work in the heavy‑equipment sector, familiarity with variable frequency drives, soft starters, control‑panel design tools such as Zuken E3 or ePlan, and knowledge of 24 VDC control networks (EtherNet/IP, CANbus, Modbus). Additional assets are PLC software development, hydraulic‑system understanding, on‑site fault‑finding, and strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Travel is required.
