About the Role

The Industrial Tool Specialist is responsible for generating profitable sales from the rental of industrial‑tool equipment to new regional customers. The role focuses on expanding market share within the industrial segment and increasing revenue and profitability of Industrial Tool locations in the assigned region. Key responsibilities include establishing district and regional goals, developing strategies to identify revenue opportunities, prospecting new customers, and growing equipment sales. The specialist must understand customer fleet, quality, and safety expectations, guide purchasing and maintenance, and work with project managers to improve operational efficiencies during outages and turnarounds. Additional duties involve staying current on safety requirements, sharing leads with colleagues, and integrating national accounts and master service agreements. • Generate profitable sales of industrial tool rentals to new regional customers. • Expand market share and revenue for industrial tool equipment within the assigned region. • Establish district and regional goals and develop strategies to identify revenue opportunities. • Prospect, acquire, and retain new customers for industrial tool equipment. • Assess customer fleet, quality, and safety expectations and guide equipment selection and maintenance. • Collaborate with project managers to improve operational efficiencies during outages and turnarounds. • Stay current on industrial plant safety requirements. • Share leads, ideas, and opportunities with other Industrial Tool Specialists. • Integrate national accounts and master service agreements into regional operations. • Manage multiple opportunities and client relationships concurrently.

What You Bring

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 2‑5 years of direct sales or project‑management experience in the heavy‑equipment industry, with a background in industrial tools preferred. Required skills are strong project‑management, new‑business development, customer‑retention, mechanical aptitude, and excellent written and verbal communication for presentations and business reviews. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2‑5 years of sales/project‑management experience in heavy equipment. • Demonstrate strong project‑management, new‑business development, and customer‑retention skills. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication, capable of delivering presentations and business reviews. • Possess mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial construction equipment applications.
