About the Role
The Self‑Perform Operations (SPO) Superintendent will plan, forecast, lead, direct, and coordinate the work of SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring work adheres to safety, schedule, quality, and production plans while supervising trade labor within the assigned area. • Sequence work to meet project schedule and productivity, coordinating SPO activities with the project superintendent. • Establish weekly production requirements with the foreman and track results. • Plan, communicate, and implement scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing for trade employees. • Oversee assigned trades to ensure coordinated project operations. • Resolve local issues related to procedures, design clarifications, labor availability, and equipment scheduling. • Develop and enforce an SPO safety plan in line with Turner standards and applicable regulations. • Supervise and develop trade forepersons, contributing to performance appraisals. • Investigate, communicate, and resolve field issues with owners and architects/engineers. • Manage monthly estimates of work completed, payroll, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications. • Ensure installation complies with approved contract documents. • Verify accuracy of take‑offs and manage material procurement. • Assist in bidding by reviewing productivity and execution approaches. • Perform constructability reviews. • Apply lean construction methods such as the Last Planner System (LPS).

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of superintendent experience in construction. • Proven knowledge of building construction methods, scheduling, cost control, contracts, and specifications. • Understanding of lean principles and ability to apply them on projects. • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes, and schedules. • Proficiency with MS Office and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) applications. • Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal relationship‑building skills.
