About the Role
We are seeking an NDT Level 3 Process Owner to join Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) – Off-wing Operations. In this role you will provide technical support to NDT Level 2 technicians and the operational team while developing, maintaining and continuously improving NDT processes to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead‑time requirements. You will ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental standards and the Zero Harm programme, and that product safety is achieved by adhering to design intent and promptly addressing safety issues. Additionally, you will drive a culture of zero defects, work with all functions to reduce risk, and enforce compliance with company, legislative and technical policies such as RRMS, SABRe, export control and intellectual property requirements. Continuous improvement responsibilities include reviewing component manufacturing sequencing, ensuring appropriate testing throughout the manufacturing cycle, and collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering Commodity Leaders and Process Owners to establish best practices. As the technical authority you will author and approve NDT inspection instructions, declare process limitations, review Component Inspection Manuals and Overhaul Process Manuals, and maintain all NDT inspector approvals, appraisals and performance monitoring. • Provide technical support to NDT Level 2 technicians and operational teams. • Develop, maintain and improve NDT processes to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery and lead‑time targets. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental standards and the Zero Harm programme. • Guarantee product safety by adhering to design intent and resolving safety issues. • Drive a zero‑defect culture and enforce compliance with company, legislative and technical policies (RRMS, SABRe, export control, IP). • Conduct continuous improvement of component manufacturing sequencing and testing. • Author and approve NDT inspection instructions, procedures and work instructions; declare process limitations. • Review and maintain Component Inspection Manuals and Overhaul Process Manuals. • Manage NDT inspector approvals, including annual appraisals, five‑year re‑approvals and performance monitoring. • Perform and oversee practical and written examinations for NDT inspectors. • Maintain internal NDT audits and vision requirements per RRP58000.

What You Bring
The position requires NDT Level 3 certification in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Eddy Current Inspection, with optional certifications in Ultrasonic and X‑Ray inspection. Candidates must hold a professional engineering qualification (minimum HND/foundation degree or equivalent) and, where available, recognised national or international engineering accreditation such as UK IEng or CEng. • Required NDT Level 3 certifications: Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current (optional: Ultrasonic, X‑Ray). • Hold a professional engineering qualification (minimum HND/foundation degree) and, where available, IEng or CEng accreditation.
