About the Role
The manager will help coordinate and oversee pre‑construction, development, bid/award and close‑out activities, validate site conditions, draft concept drawings, review design feedback, and prepare status reports. They will also liaise with public agencies and utilities, monitor budgets, support contract and procurement planning, develop policy guidelines, estimate costs, and maintain facility inventory maps using AutoCAD. • Coordinate pre‑construction, development, bid/award, and close‑out phases of assigned projects. • Validate existing site conditions and draft concept drawings to visualize project scope. • Review design team feedback and provide recommendations to the Planning and Development Project Manager. • Prepare status and progress reports for management and the PDPM. • Liaise with public agencies, utilities, and government representatives to meet federal and state requirements. • Monitor project budgets and ensure they reflect current project status and scope. • Assist with contract, bid, and procurement planning activities. • Develop and improve program policy guidelines and procedures. • Estimate building costs in collaboration with technical personnel and maintain facility inventory maps using AutoCAD.

What You Bring
The Tsui Group is looking for a Junior M&O Project/Program Manager to support a large educational client in Los Angeles County. The role requires experience in educational facility construction and will involve assisting the Planning and Development Project Manager across multiple project phases. Candidates must have at least five years of professional construction management experience, preferably in educational or public‑agency projects, and hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management (experience may substitute). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit, ArcGIS and report writing is desired. Compensation ranges from $104,000 to $109,000 and includes comprehensive medical, vision, dental coverage, life and disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, a cell‑phone stipend, and a work laptop. • Minimum of 5 years full‑time professional experience in project/construction management, preferably in educational or public‑agency facilities. • Knowledge of safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements, and environmental procedures (plus). • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management; experience may substitute on a year‑for‑year basis. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit (Enscape), ArcGIS, and report writing.
