About the Role

The position also requires contract preparation and negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, quality control, and occasional regional or national travel. • Lead design teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction phases for facility projects. • Manage client relationships and business development for the Charleston design center. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and sub‑consultants to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. • Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and quality control. • Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to build technical expertise and design capacity. • Participate in external marketing, business development, and occasional regional/national travel.

The Charleston, SC office seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead design teams on facility projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction. The role involves client development, clear communication, coordination of multi‑discipline teams and sub‑consultants, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, have at least seven years of relevant experience, and a minimum of two years in project management. Preferred qualifications include ten or more years of progressive experience, five years in a project‑manager role, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to produce client presentations, memoranda, and reports.
