About the Role
In this role you will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. You will develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. The opportunity includes gaining knowledge in one or more areas such as natural resource regulations, water quality programs, wetlands identification, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, geographic information systems, and environmental science. Some travel may be required (approximately 10%). • Solve complex problems and support project managers across disciplines. • Collaborate to deliver client visions for the built environment. • Learn federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company standards. • Gain expertise in natural resource regulations, water quality programs, wetlands identification, botany, soil science, ecology, wildlife biology, water resources, GIS, and environmental science.

What You Bring

This is not a remote position. • Travel up to 10% as needed. • Pursue a Bachelors or Masters in Biology, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Land Use Planning, Energy, or related fields.
