About the Role
As an Appian Tester you will validate the functionality, performance, and security of Appian applications. You will create and execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards. You will collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders on production releases and new development projects to deliver a seamless user experience. • Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for Appian applications. • Execute manual and automated functional tests of workflows, interfaces, and integrations. • Identify, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps and coordinate resolutions with developers. • Conduct regression testing for releases to verify existing functionality. • Perform performance testing and recommend optimizations. • Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure coverage. • Maintain comprehensive test documentation and quality metrics. • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and integrate testing into sprint cycles. • Conduct security testing to validate compliance with data security standards.

What You Bring
Candidates must be U.S. citizens residing in the United States and hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of software testing experience with Appian applications, or 7+ years of testing experience in lieu of a degree, is required. Required skills include hands‑on testing of Appian process models, interfaces and integrations, test plan creation, Azure DevOps defect tracking, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication. Preferred qualifications include Appian Developer Certification, experience with government services, API integrations, SQL data validation, and a solid understanding of Agile development practices.
