About the Role
The role includes reviewing and interpreting specifications, drawings, and project scope, independently creating models, connections, and shop drawings, and developing detailed shop and erection drawings using Autodesk Inventor while adhering to project schedules. The designer will ensure high accuracy, timely completion of detailing tasks, manage assigned projects with minimal supervision, and maintain accountability for detailing quality. • Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and project scope. • Create models, connections, and shop drawings independently while meeting schedules. • Develop detailed shop and erection drawings using Autodesk Inventor. • Ensure high accuracy and timely completion of detailing tasks. • Manage assigned projects with minimal supervision. • Maintain accountability for detailing accuracy.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a steel detailer/designer, be proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or comparable software) and Vault, and possess strong written and verbal English communication skills. Prior experience as a checker and familiarity with additional equivalent software are considered assets. • Minimum five years experience as a steel detailer/designer. • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or similar) and experienced with Vault. • Prior checker experience is an asset. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
