About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager supports planning, directing, and coordinating activities for assigned projects to ensure objectives are met within schedule and budget. Duties include reviewing proposals, allocating resources, managing contracts, billing, bid preparation, and maintaining project documentation. The role requires strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, and database software, and supervisory experience is preferred. Work is performed in plant operations or construction jobsite settings, with an emphasis on safety awareness and proper use of tools and equipment. • Update and maintain the construction schedule. • Document daily activities and resolve on‑site construction issues. • Prepare and supervise project closeout documentation. • Assist other craft workers as needed. • Climb and work on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, scaffolds, and uneven terrain in various weather conditions. • Operate all types of office equipment and drive cars/trucks as required. • Make decisions, maintain attention to detail, and provide leadership and motivation.

What You Bring
