About the Role

The Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR team with daily operations, handling data entry, scheduling, and various administrative tasks. Working onsite at 3500 Colonnade Pkwy, Birmingham, AL, the coordinator maintains personnel records, assists new hires through onboarding, prepares orientation materials, and serves as a point of contact for employee questions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and is eager to learn. • Collect new‑hire information, initiate background checks and pre‑employment drug screens, and prepare orientation materials. • Schedule employee drug testing using a third‑party system. • Process E‑Verify requests to confirm eligibility to work in the U.S. • Maintain filing systems and ensure confidential, compliant record‑keeping. • Enter employee data into JDE, Navex, and DISA with accuracy and timeliness. • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and travel for HR and Operations teams. • Respond to general employee inquiries and forward complex issues to the HR Manager. • Manage building badge system for new hires, visitors, and badge replacements. • Draft HR communications as needed. • Provide administrative support such as answering phones, data entry, filing, ordering supplies, and greeting visitors for other QPS departments. • Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring

• Minimum one year of Human Resources administrative experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • Experience working with JD Edwards (JDE).
