About the Role
The role includes integration and delivery of Rolls‑Royce Production System tasks such as lean manufacturing, asset care, visual management, OEE and waste reduction, supporting the facility’s aim for minimum standards in lean techniques. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment that values agility, boldness, collaboration and simplicity, and will be expected to work rotating shift patterns of mornings, afternoons and nights. • Inspect fan case components throughout manufacturing and sentencing. • Perform visual, CMM (PC DMIS/Modus), borescope and fluorescent penetrant inspections. • Release components via CAA Form 1 and complete inspection documentation and non‑conformance reports. • Interpret drawings, specifications and technical instructions. • Coach and guide other teams on quality standards and continuous improvement. • Support shop‑floor to maintain quality and flow.

What You Bring
• Hold a relevant apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in engineering/manufacturing. • Experience inspecting aerospace components and interpreting technical drawings. • Understand CMM function and software (Modus or PC‑DMIS) and MES booking system. • Basic IT literacy and knowledge of HS&E standards. • Know asset care and lean manufacturing concepts. • Ability to work rotating shift pattern (morning, afternoon, night). • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork aligned with Rolls‑Royce values.
