About the Role

The asphalt paver operator is responsible for operating the paver to lay asphalt to the specified finish surface, performing routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment, collaborating with team members to meet project specifications, adhering to safety protocols at all times, and promptly reporting any equipment issues to supervisors. The role is performed in environments that involve moving mechanical equipment, varying weather conditions, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. • Operate asphalt paver to achieve specified surface finish. • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspections. • Coordinate with teammates to ensure project specifications are met. • Follow all safety protocols and promptly report equipment issues. • Work in settings with moving equipment, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and high noise levels.
