About the Role

Key duties include mentoring junior staff, managing multiple environmental projects, and handling client communication and database maintenance. Responsibilities also cover budgeting, preparing change orders and invoices, scheduling and supervising field teams, developing proposals, producing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. • Mentor junior staff and support team development • Manage multiple environmental projects simultaneously • Interface daily with clients and maintain a client database • Prepare proposals, change orders, invoices, and assist with collections • Schedule, train, and oversee subordinate field staff and subcontractors • Conduct asbestos, lead‑based paint, mold, and indoor air quality assessments • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations • Review and approve deliverables from junior staff before senior review • Perform sample collection, preparation, preservation, and laboratory submission per guidelines

What You Bring

The role requires a B.S. or M.S. in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline, along with at least five years of environmental consulting or industrial‑hygiene experience. Relevant certifications for asbestos, lead‑based paint, and mold are strongly desired, and the candidate must be able to lift 40 lb and work on uneven terrain. • Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field • Minimum five years of environmental consulting or industrial hygiene experience • Possess relevant asbestos, lead‑based paint, and mold certifications • Able to lift at least 40 lb and work on uneven terrain
