About the Role
• Observe and perform routine field tests on a per‑project basis under supervision. • Communicate daily with ECS technicians, project managers, and site representatives. • Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested. • Learn and apply calculations, data reduction, drafting, and related administrative duties. • Calibrate and use field equipment, documenting readings accurately. • Provide office clerical support and assist in report production. • Conduct assessments of asbestos‑containing materials, lead‑based paint, radon, and mold; obtain relevant certifications. • Complete daily field reports detailing site activities and observations.

What You Bring
Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform routine field tests and support project activities. The position is field‑based, requiring a positive customer‑service attitude and alignment with ECS Core Values. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; no prior experience required. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job‑site travel (mileage reimbursed). • Lift a minimum of 40 lb repeatedly and walk on uneven terrain.
